Pakistan's Sahibzada Farhan celebrates fifty with firing gun celebration vs India months after Pahalgam terror attack

Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan brought up his fifty in style during the Asia Cup 2025 Super 4 clash against India on Sunday, September 21. He scored a massive six off Axar Patel in the 10th over to bring up his half-century, which gave Pakistan some momentum.

Farhan’s celebration was controversial, as he did a firing gun gesture looking at his dugout. This immediately caught attention on social media as it comes just months after the tragic Pahalgam terror attack, where 26 innocent Indian tourists were killed by attackers from Pakistan.

Earlier, India captain Suryakumar Yadav refused to shake hands with Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha at the toss, continuing the drama from the previous game.
